These are some of my favorite prints that I selected from my experiments with a printmaking technique called etching. By scratching onto the zinc plate and soaking the plate in acid, you can create beautiful prints with different textures and layers.
Another technique that I use in printmaking is by scratching, tearing, folding paper, and creating very nice shapes and details using those methods. I really like how natural the shapes can be and the tearing of the paper creates a kind of "shadow" when printed.

After becoming more familiar with the different techniques, I decided to explore the composition, color and layers of my existing prints. I really stepped out of my comfort zone by combining very different patterns to create a completely new print.
